Editorial principles

Every figure carries a source

Numbers in an article are taken verbatim from the original research or announcement. We do not use figures SurfingBear has estimated, and every source link appears at the foot of the article.

We separate reporting from opinion

The factual summary and the ‘Korean team’s view’ (our interpretation) are visually distinguished. The interpretation is the judgement of the SurfingBear editorial team, not a claim made by the original reporting.
